Best PH position

Just got my Coralife 18watt UV Sterilization Unit and powering the waterflow thru the UV with a MaxiJet 106GPH PH

WHERE IN THE TANK DO I PUT THE PH TO RID THE TANK OF PARASITES (SPECIFICALLY "ICH").... BOTTOM, MIDLEVEL, TOPLEVEL?

I'm not sure I use the UV in the sump when I have it hooked up. (it needs a bulb at the moment so I took it out)

Anywhere in the tank you put the power head will be fine. Just make sure the output is not near the input of the pump. So put the power head on the right side of the tank low then the output on left side of the tank high making them as far apart as possible this way more water will be able to be circulated through the UV.

Did that make sense?
