No. I was referring to the reflectors themselves. I built them out of solatube extensions. The "rack" is just a piece of C channel I had laying around.

oo ic i c...i may have to look into this. (sorry for the misunderstanding) have you ever heard of these spyder reflectors?if so how do you think a 175 watt with a spyder reflector would do on a 20 gallon?

It would work fine. You just won't be getting the same amount of light reflected into the tank as you would with one of the other reflectors mentioned in this thread.

hmm i think i may go with the spyder then..the reason being i think im going to only have this 20 for a while still until i upgrade then i will just buy 2 top end reflectors when i do..im thinking for a small 20 gallon the spyder reflector will reflect plenty of light(especially for my needs which most likely wont get toooo enhanced until i have more water volume)..but i thank all of ya for the advice and ill post some pictures when its goin..-drew

The Spider reflectors do work, and are better than nothing. I have run the lumenarc mini's, and they are awesome. I run one currently over my frag tank and it lights 4 x 3 easily, with lower light corals around the edges... The only problem is that they are a little hard to find. The other reflectors mentioned also work very well.

I have also had very good luck with the Icecap Pendants if your space is REALLY limited.
