Thank you very much for all the responses. I've had my eye on the Magnavore for years. My
mag float worked fine on the old tank, I know it's too small a model for the glass on the new tank which is what prompted me to start looking at the competition (or lack thereof in the case of Magnavore). I really like the idea that you can replace the felt on the outside because my Mag felt is pretty worn out.
Now, here's the ultimate question: Will the Magnavore scrape coraline? I tend to think no but would like to hear from some owners.
I just opted to put that money into other equipment.
