BEFORE the ARM goes deep ?

Curious to hear what other folks do as precaution to fish before going

armpit deep in the tank for maintenance etc. with respect to rinsing and washing the flesh before hand ?

Example assuming no oils/perfumes,etc.;

Fresh water rinse only
Mild dish soap and rinse
anti bacterial soap/rinse

Thanks!

I never go in to armpit either. Not that I really have to. I have some grabbers that I use.

BUT, when I go with arm or hands in the tank, I wash up with fresh water, use some baking soda for grit, dry with clean towel (I try not to use fabric softener sheets on the tank towels (probably overkill))

I usually wash my hands with warm water, rinse my "full-arm length gloves" with water and then dig in.. these gloves make it harder to hold frags though.

nothing at all on your hands or arms.wash REALLY well no perfume,nail polish,deodorant,medication, grease, NOTHING.. but its still best to use gloves..i also have to go ''arm-pit Deep'' in my tank but as long as your really clean, shouldnt hurt..but dont keep your arms in the tank everyday.
