I have a BIG can of brine shrimp eggs that i use for my african cichlid fry. I have a few questions. If i put the brine in my saltwater tank how long will they survive. Also how much should i put in the tank as to not polute it. I have a bristle star a clown and some pepermint shrimp and some snails. WIll feather dusters ect also benifite from these?

brine shrimp are not the most nutritious things to be feeding a tank. they are ok for getting hard to feed critters to finally eat, but not good to use as a food long term.

Brine shrimp are an excellent form of food and can be used as a part of your food program. No food should be fed exclusively to your tanks as each different food has strengths and weaknesses and with variety, you end up with a balanced nutrition for your tank.

I believe Mysis shrimp are a bit more nutritious

Well, there are many different kind of flake, as well as frozen foods like the brine, mysis, bloodworms, beef heart and plankton for instance.
You can also make up your own by chopping up items from the ocean food counter at your local store, freezing in appropriate sizes so you can just pull out one block to feed each feeding.
What you feed would many times be dictated by what your inhabitants are, and, what they will eat or not eat. Some trial and error would be involved.
