BB or not? Cant decide

I am working on cleaning up a 120 that I recently purchased. The original plan was to go with a Faux Sand Bed with lots of flow.

Where i'm stuck at is I dont want the tank to be SPS only. I love LPS and zoo's, but want quite a few SPS in the tank. So its a LPS/SPS tank with zoo's.
So i'm stuck between the fsb and ssb.......

Don't bother posting biased opinions because you don't like the other, I dont care about that. I only care about doing whats best for my corals.

TIA

I think BOTH are ideal for different systems......bb for sps and MASSIVE flow and dsb for predator type fish and lps/softies. BUT, either type tank can support all but a few corals and fishes in a mixed environment. I say pick the one you want and dont cut corners in how you set it up and maintain it and it will be GREAT.

I had a nice Zoa colony covering my board on my old 20gal BB, now I am trying to cover the rock shelf I made with eggcrate, but the coraline is growing faster than the zoas. My zoas like flow very much.
They will be ok on BB.

are not all opinions biased?

going FSB or BB allows you to have a wide range of flows. you are not limited on either end. you can not have to much flow or to little. with a BB/FSB you may need to feed more to keep the nutrient levels up depending on your skimmer, but should not be a problem.

I think if you are going to have zoos you might not see very much growth out of them (which might not be a bad thing) if you do BB. I like the sand so I do DSB.
