It has been well documented from various sources (number and strength of hurricanes in the Atlantic, ocean water temperatures, number of icebergs in the Southern ocean) that 2005 is going to go down as the warmest year in recorded history.


Add to that the rising atmospheric CO2 levels, and resulting declining pH of the oceans, and the reefs in our tanks might be the only ones left in the not too distant future.
