Baffles All In

Finally,

I've got all of these baffles in place. I would like to thank everyone who helped me get this project off the ground and encouraging me to try a DIY instead forking out the cash for for a pre-made sump in which I would have tossed the bio balls. I learned a lot about different tools and putting together some pvc pieces. I still have a few more things to do before the sump is fully operational. I would like to send a extra big Brooklyn, NY/Baltimore shout out to Sambo, Leveldrummer, Fly Guy, and Reefboy down in DC. I PM'd these dudes to death with questions about the building the sump. Everybody was the real cool with the different suggestions and advice.

Thanks

I'd love to, but I don't own a digital camera yet. The digital function on the Palm pilot is lame.

It's a great feeling when you build your own, isn't it! That moment when you step back, beer in hand, and look at the thing you've just finished, and think 'not bad!'...

After the skimmer a digi cam is the most important piece of equipment for a reef

Congrats on the sump build !

Okay I think I have a picture of the sump

Okay, everybody braces yourselves because this is a little nasty. I have trim that excess silicone tomorrow. It was little difficult placing one of the baffles after the raised one because my hands are so big. I am open to and expecting some criticism and maybe jokes, but hey I am proud of myself.
