Bacteria?

I've started a 75 gallon reef tank. Its been about a week and a half sense i've started the cycle. My latest reading is as follows: LR Nitrite 0, HR Nitrite 0.8, Nitrate 0, Ammonia 0.1, pH 8.2. I'm also using a refugium. I've noticed over the past couple days that a very bright green algea is growing on the glass, and a little on the rock. First noticed it in the refugium. Any idea what it might be? I know its not beard algea, it's not really growing off the glass, more like covering the glass. Is it good, bad? Thanks for your help

It is perfectly normal. You may have several different algae blooms in the beginning. Especially during the initial cycle. Just get a magnet cleaner to clean off the glass. Most of these algae blooms will run their course then go away.

Welcome to TRT, I moved your thread into Gen Reef so it will get more views.
I agree with EC that the algae is normal for a new tank, it will come and go as the available nutrients are used up. Are you using tap water or Reverse Osmosis filtered water?
