Baby snails???

And before you all point out the fact I haven't posted any pics - by the time I got the camera out I couldn't find him again....but I have found a baby snail! I thought this wasn't possible - don't all the snail species have free-swimming larvae that aren't supposed to survive skimmers/return pumps/fish in the tank etc?

A number of snails undergo benthic development vs planktonic development.

By any chance do you have strombus snails, stomatella snails, or nassarius snails?

I have nassarius, but from the view of his foot, I would swear this was a baby turbo snail...

It is more than likely a stomatella snail, they will reproduce very well in a tank environment
