Baby Clown Fish - Day 9

Well it's Day 9. They are still alive (I lost about 3 or 4 runts). They are now eating newly hatched brine shrimp and pulverised flakes in addition to the rotifers. I now need to ween them off the rotifers. Days 8 to 12 are supposed to be metamorphosis. After they metamorph I can add a filter so I don't have to do daily water changes (Yipheee!!!!).

I was very happy to see this morning that one or two had "morphed". They actually have the two white clown fish bands on them! Really, really, really cute!

Hopefully the rest with morph over the weekend. I'll take some pictures on Sunday and post them.

That's so neat, Gary! I'll bet they are just as cute as can be. Can't wait to see pics and good job raising the little guys. My goodness, there are babies all over this board!

This is Garyg's significant other. This morning only one had mophed, by noon a check saw two fully banded little critters, and now there are about three more starting to change color. And another batch of eggs are ready to hatch tonigh or tomorrow, but Gary says that they will be life food for the main tank. Sniff!
