AZ-NO3 is simply carbon dosing. I have used both Vodka and Bio Fuel which is just about the same thing. It used along with skimming to reduce Nitrates/Phosphate and takes at least 3 weeks to get results dosing daily. Microbacer7 I have used in conjunction with the Carbon dosing to add specific benificial bacteria. The carbon dosing worked for a while and then I got rebound nitrate above 80ppm. The Microbacter7 however is good stuff and helps to process DOC's, cant go wrong with that. I have been told that they are both work better if you use Neo Zeo by Brightwell
