automatic fish feeders

Anyone know of a reliable automatic fish feeder? My wife and I are spending more and more time at work and my poor fish are starving. I noticed that Marine Depot sells the Rainbow Lifegard feeder. Has anyone used this or another one?

Thanks,

Mike

Reply to auto fish feeder

I've used the el cheap'o battery operated feeder for 5 years and have not had a problem. It feeds twice a day does not have any settings on it just have go by feel but I would guess the electric would be better for what you are looking for.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck

I have found the hydor "mixo" to be pretty good. The ehiem auto feeder is okay too, you can set it for up to 4 feeds a day and it has a fairly large food chamber.
