ATTN. MI Reef Keepers

I know there's some rust belt dwellers out there. Lets get a bi-monthly meeting together! I see people talking about there "reef clubs" all over the bb, so lets get it going. Anyone in the near Michigan area interested? I think it would be great to talk face to face with other hobyists. Please, only kind and humble people. Nobody knows everything! Maby we could learn from eachother.

Well, I'm not in Michigan... but wanted to tell you, WAY TO GO! Best of luck with getting your group together. This is exactly the way that MASC started, with me posting a very similar message on a few of the boards. . . and as they say, the rest is history.

If we can help with anything, don't hesitate to contact us. You're going to have a blast!

Wishing you much success!

I live just east of Ann Arbor. Have been up in your area before. Went to Preuss nimal House up near you. I think we should get something going. It would be nice if we were able to find a place to mmet and possibly some area sponsors like preuss, tropicorium, ect. Post this on all the boards becuase most of the reefers around me are on reefland and reefcentral. They just held a frag swap about a week ago so I think the interest is there.

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday. We had an unexpected visit from a old friend whos been away for a while. I can put a word in at Pruess, if you can talk to lfs and people near you. If we can generate some intrest, maby we should shoot for a January meeting. My e-mail sould be listed here, let me know if you hear any interest. I will do the same.

You do know there's a West Mich reef club and a East Mich reef club already don't you? I dont belong to either but I do know they both have regular meetings, along with frags swaps and such. The W. MI club meets in Kzoo I believe and the E.MI club meets....on the east side :P I dont have the web addresses handy or I would post them here, but a search should bring them up.
