also, the valves are directional... make sure you hook them up the right way

you will also need a 12VDC powersupply capable of a couple amps.

Thanks again for all the help, Tony. I can't hold my eyes open any longer, so I'm going to crash. I'll get back to figuring all this out again tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the help. I gave up though. I ordered the Madison float switches and a small pump from autotopoff.com. This together with a 20gl tank I have, should work for my ATO. It won't be hooked to my RO/DI though. I also ordered the auto shutoff valve for my RO/DI. I have a swing arm float switch I will install in a 40gl barrel. This will be hooked to my RO/DI. I will have to manually fill the 20gl reservoir, but that shouldn't be to bad. Thanks again

Maybe I'm late and too lazy to read through the whole thread, but skimming over the first two pages I have concerns. What will be your fail safe if the ATO fails? Kalk and a whole lot of water are a bad thing

fail safe is the electrical interlock of the ATO circuit and manual shutoff of the RODI input. While the RODI is on filling the reservoir, the ATO will not work. While the RODI is turned off manually, it can only add the contents of the RODI reservoir to the tank.

Sure, no problem. I'll probably post pics in my build thread. They said the parts should arrive in 2 to 4 days. That was 2 days ago, so any day now.
