ASM skimmer is great!

After I got the thing to settle down in about a day it has been working great. Gunky (technical term) foam everywhere. I haven't emptied that much gunk all last year. I have noticed though that my pink tipped plate coral has not opened up lately to its normal 6" diameter. It is only about 4". Maybe the water is too clean!

Great investment in my opinion although the Sedra pump is a little louder than the Mag I was running on the old useless skimmer.

I just installed mine too. I totally agree. There was foam within minutes. I am now using my old skimmer to pump water into my refugium!
