thanks again for the compliments everyone. but of course, as always, much of the credit lies on the shoulders of the wonderful folks here that helped me along the way!!
asia is quite happy that everyone thinks she did a good job!
and for the record, yes the stand was designed to support a larger tank

specifically a 180g (24x24x72) or a 225g (30x24x72)

so yeah, those plans are still in the air as to when i'll start construction.
but, i'm thinking of just doing a whole new stand when i go with the big tank. and would rather wait till i sell this house, and do an in-wall at the next house with a sump room behind it.
i'm kind of crammed for space in this stand, under the tank. not a lot of room left in there.
i made the space behind the fuge, large enough to hold the c02 tank for the ca reactor. today i was goign to put it in, wont fit!!
it will fit in the space, however, the side door opening is not big enough to accomodate sliding it in, because the fuge is in the way

it's too small by about 1.5"
so then i thought i would put it in the space below the fuge with the lift up door. no dice. that door is too small by 3/4"
so it looks like the only way i can get it into place, is to drain the fuge, move it, put the c02 tank in place, then refill the fuge.
which, i guess really isnt so bad, since i probably should do a FIRST water change anyway
as for my update.... i'm attempting to go back to work tommorrow! i've been working from home. posting ebay ads for our stuff, and doing the layout for our new warehouse. and answering our ebay phone calls at home. but tommorrow i'm gonna make an attempt at being back in the office and working with customers again. now if i can jsut get hte warehosue guys to listen to me the first time, and not have to repeat everything to them, i'll be ok
well, time to go make miss asia some lunch, and maybe get around to draining the fuge and doing a water change... tell me again, HOW do you do a water change. its been so long, i cant remember

my last one was on the 55
