Arizona reefers

Is there anyone else in Arizona, or is it just me? What stores do you prefer in the valley?

I like The Ocean Floor because some of their prices are good, except for the LR! I bought my 2nd piece of LR from them, a 5 lb piece about 3 weeks ago, and was happy with the shape and size. They have a variety of snails, too, and some nice fish.

Aquarium Arts: They are ok, but I won't go there again, til I have to. THey discourage you from buying LR, unless you have a reeftank!

Ocean Vu Aquariums: I bought my 10 lb piece of LR from them, and was extremely happy! Very big piece, and for a good price, too! I also bought my cleaner shrimp from them. The staff seems very nice & knowledgeable.

I haven't been to AquaTouch yet ....... I keep wantint to, though!

Well, the thread is a little old, but I thought I would reply anyways... I have been by Ocean Floor once, they seemed like a decent store...

Will NEVER shop at Aquarium Arts! Every time I ask anyone a question there, NOONE knows the answer! Idiots...

Pets Inc. I am in love with! Most of the employees have lots of experience with tanks, and they are very willing to talk to you about fish! I was very pleased.

Havent heard about Ocean Vu or AquaTouch. What part of the valley are they located?

I've heard Aquatouch is getting better, I've also heard it's getting worse. I don't shop there anymore. (Gouge me once shame on me, gouge me twice, shame on you.)

Fins & Friends is a great neighborhood LFS. (16th st. & Bethany home) Great people, good prices. FRIENDLY STAFF (rare elsewhere). No SPS though if that's an interest.

Stay away from any of the Tropical Treasures. JMO.

Ocean Floor seemed very "sales motivated". They work on commission.

I've been to almost all of the stores in the valley. Unfortunately I have resorted to buying 95% of my stuff online. No one comes close with either prices or guarantees. (why pay $40.00 for a ricordea when I can get it for $7.50 online? Even with ON shipping I still come out ahead. Crazy!)

Everyone has their favorite store and that's great. I guess I'm still looking.
