Are they healthy corals?

Please help me check if these are healthy corals and at the same time help me ID them.

Here I think I have a blue open brain corals??? There are a couple of black lines, are these just normal or a sign of disease?

Is this a yellow fiji? Always like this, is this one ok?

Is this a montipora? Why are there black spots at the tips of the branches. Are these sign of a diseases?

Goniopora. have this black spot in the middle since I got it. but lately, the polyps are not extending.

Open brain? Something is wrong with the lower portion, the polyp shrink back as can be seen from the picture. What is the problem and how to correct the situation?

Mazed coral? Got this very healthy but now it becomes like this. I originally put it in a low flow area and suddenly starts to shrink.

Pavorites? Got these two. But with some dark spot on the leaves. Are these ok or do I have to cut them out.

Please correct me if I named or spell the name of these coral incorrectly. thanks.

I got 2 x 250 watts 20,000k MH light, 4 x 30 watts actinic. 167 Gal tank, flow less than 20X (have to increase flow) The last time I tested the water, nitrate, phosphate are 0.

Below is the full tank shot but in three parts:

Right side

Mid part

Left side

Another close up of the right side of the tank which I think have the lowest water flow and is where I originally placed the green mazed coral, as you can see in the pics above, I have already move it up but is it too late?

Lots of nice coral! How come you don't crank up the flow?

Haven't check lately the water parameter.

I am afraid to increase the flow because of the elegance which hates strong flow, that's why in that area, I have the lowest flow. I still have to look for a way to cover the elegance so that when I increase the flow, it will not be affected. Are all of the corals I pictured individually healthy? The black spots, the shrinking parts of the open brain??? Can you help me ID them?

Are these new developments or over time? Would you say those corals are beginning to look worse? It is really hard to tell from the pics. Have you tried moving them to see if that helps. I personally would not sacrifice the health of the whole tank just for one coral. Almost all need decent flow

I'm SPS exclusive...no softies or LPS! Water params are something we need to know to comment intelligently. Also, pictures do not depict whether the corals are in a state of homeostasis, assention or decline. How do the corals look to you, compared to a month ago?

Also, you cannot adjust the flow to suit only ONE coral. Part of the challenge of this hobby is to find the unique variety of animals that can co-exist in the controlled environment that we create.

can't help much with sps. On the lps, you have the brains in the rockwork which is probably irritating their tissue therefore they are not opening completely. My lps also seem to prefer moderate to low flow, just enough for them to sway but not pull at the tissue, otherwise they close up. Are you feeding them any? Are you keeping your calcium and alk checked. You have alot of stoney corals that use alot of calcium and may need something like a calcium reactor. Really need to see your test numbers but for the most part they look heathy just a little ticked off.

I would have to say increase flow, and keep your calcium in check.

The open brain and the maze coral don't look to good - What worked for me was to place them in a shaded area and feed them well with mysis shrimp or pelleted food
