I have a question for any electricians out there.
Can you put an arc fault interupter and a ground fault interupter on the same circuit, or do you have to pick one or the other for each circuit?
I'm having a new house built and I'd like an arc fault interupter on the circuits that will be dedicated to my lights, and I'm wondering if I can also get GFIs on these circuits. All other circuits (supplying any equipment that contacts water)will have GFIs. I'll definitely discuss this with my builder and his electrical subcontractor, but we're not due to meet for another week, and I thought I'd try to do some research ahead of time.
