aquascaping putty


Anyonr know of any good putty/epoxy or anything to use to better secure my rock. I tried securing them with rods, but it still feels unstable. anything I can use under water? pleae help.

They make a two part epoxy that you kneed together.Just one thing turn your protein skimmer off for many hours,or it will go crazy.

Don't expect miracles even out of the epoxy putty, though it's the best thing I've found.

is this just that plumbers putty by the PVC at home depot?

It might be, but be careful. Rectorseal, which is a dark colored two-part epoxy will let go after a short time and will be worthless. Also, some brands are for repairing metal and will have steel incorporated into the epoxy, not good for the tank. Read the label carefully.

I read an article about acuascaping that someone posted on here, and it said that Harvey brand plumber's putty was good.
