Aquarium software

Lookee here what I found! Being a known Mac User, this one is designed just for our kind.

What's the corresponding software for PC users?

Those programs are only useful when you bother to input your data. I usually give up on them after a couple of weeks because I don't keep them up updated. Besides, I have not tested the water in my tank in months.

Ahh..there is that. I know what you mean, Andrew. I tied something like that for a running journal, and I didn't take the time to document my runs.

Hi Cath!

The two that I am familiar with are as follows:

The Marine Fish & Mini-Reef Interactive Support Program, v2.0

http://www.micromarinesoftware.com

and also:

ReefCon 2000

http://www.infinitysoft.net/ReefCon/

The program from MicroMarine must be purchased but the ReefCon program is a shareware "FREE" downloadable program. Anyway, have fun with your MAC program! It is fun to be able to look back on your saved data (or problems) and plan for the future success of your tank! Enjoy

One small draw back I see to this program... It is geared towards fish only. Would be nice if it allowed other specs to be put in, like #'s of LR, and type, to allow listing of corals, and propagations, etc. If you have a FO tank, I think this software is great.
