I starting to build my 75g reef tank, for those of you that havent been following some of my threads.

there is a few ways i was considering doing the heating part of my tank. One idea was just buying a won bro titanium heater and buying a ranco controller. or buying the aquamedic biotherm.....

what our your ideas on this?? If i purchase a controller will i have to buy another thermometer? if i did it would be the american marine pinpoint wireless thermometer.

With those 2 big pumps you have on your tank I doubt you will ever need heat.

What I did was pickup a Rancho duel stage controler, set the temp at 80 and the differental at 1.

What happens, if the temp drops to 79 (never does) it kicks on a cheap 300W Glass heater I have set at 82 for backup. If the temp hits 81 it kicks on my fans. Nothing is on if the tank is at 80.

i really like the tried and true Ebo Jager heaters. not everything in this hobby needs to be expensive to be good.
