I was kinda thinking that what I wanted was to prepare for the next tank and not to have to buy a skimmer twice, so If I go overkill now I'll be set then.

How big do you plan on going for the next time? How much do you want to spend? Still think a ASMG2 would do ya...but you could go G3, it is only like $25 more.

next time is gonna be at least 120 gallons, i want a 6ft long tank which is the min requirment, I'd like to go bigger than 120 actually but I don't want to be doing mtc everyday all day long so 120 itll prob be,
