If I want to have a pump/controler that will dose a bit of
Kalk water at night (maybe 1/2 gallon), dose my 2 part in the mornings, and add a 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon of RO/DI mid day - would the Aqua Medic Quad be a good choice?
If so, can I run the lines from the basement to the 1st floor sump? I'd guess that each line would be 20' long....a 4-5' draw from the holding containers...a 4-5' push to the 1st floor....then over another 10' or so.

I know in the past they had issues with back siphoning. Their site says that the pumps now include a check valve....
| Using the included one-way check valve (always on the suction side) ensures positive progress of the fluid through the dosing line while eliminating back-siphoning. |
I dont think I would ever have in issue with back-siphoning. ALL lines would be above my
float valve for the top off pump. All the dosing will have a 6" drip into the sump. I'd install a float valve for the top off water only - for added security. I would have it higher than I'd ever want the water level in the sump. I fugure I can get pretty close to calculating the amount of top off per day with the programing of the AM Quad. If I have to add a 1/2 gallon a week - with a jug - I don't mind.
I figure the RO/DI top off pump would run the most - maybe an hour a day run time. The pump is rated for 10,000 hours, and the hose is rated for 3 million turns. If I rotate pumps once a year - It should last for years.
TIA,
Dave
