Question

Anywhere else toget a open brian other then a store


i dont knwo if open brains can be aquacultured but i wanted to check before i get one at work. there is a gorgeous red and green open brian at work for 69.99 which is kinda steep. Is there anywhere else i can look

I live to far away to sell mine It prefers the sand but i dont have any so i ahve it on soem rocks. Still doing good but not as happy.

He can't open up past the skeleton anymore. he receeded once because my former clownfish kept burying him

sigh. I've asked around here if it's possible to cut that skeleton or to frag him etc....no answers

but, not to hijack your thread......I'm actually looking right now for some online brains cheaper than 70 bucks...seems sorta steep. How big is that one you mentioned?

its actually i would say a medium size but the colors are crazy. it is neon red and neon green

Tried that He'll plump up but I think he has a hard time growing now because of the skeleton and the way it is sticking out. I haven't decided whether or not he likes the shade or bright light either. Both locations make him happy one day and ticked off the next LOL

he will not grow back over that skeleton because it is now nasty with algae etc...

i would, very carefully, cut away a good portion of the old skeleton along the rim and smooth it out. be careful not to touch or damage the remaining tissue. hopefully it will then work on re-growing the skeleton from there.
