I bought a Via Aqua skilter and what a disaster. No idea what their pumps are like but will stick to the Mags and other true blue brands for everything now.

Casey - it's rather like a Rio with another label. They are made by Commodity Axis. I tinkered with them but personally I don't like them.

I've had issues with most Via Aqua products, just like Rio brand. As Jenn stated, Via Aqua and Rio are both labels marketted through the Commodity Axis group. It's all cheaply sourced product from China with Via Aqua usually being the cheaper of the two.

I couldn't recommend them when I was selling them for commission as a wholesale distributor and I still can't recommend them.

I have used them a little for mixing salt water and moving water from point A-B if needed w/ no isues.

But the pump for something important probably not the best idea.
