Anyone use rainbow filters?

I have a set of rainbow filters the 30inch canister ones Id like to use them For my 72 bf, Does anyone know if I can hook it to my overflow and just let gravity take its course or do i need a pump to push it through? Id like it to drain into the filter then return into my sump.

If its going to be a reef, I wouldnt bother with them at all. Fro a reef tank the filtration is Live Rock and a quality skimmer. Canisters and other mechanical ilters trap detritus but it stys in the water. It continues to degrade releasing all the nasty stuff we dont want in our tank untill you clean it. A skimmer actually removes disolved solids. The bacteria on the Live Rock provides biolgical filtration.
