Anyone use Gorilla Glue to attach stuff in their tank?

Has anyone used this stuff in their tank before? I broke my Acrylic Overflow Skimmer and I used this to put it back together...this stuff is tough!!! This is just temporary, I just bought a brand spankin CPR90 box on e-bay and I have to wait for delivery...

http://www.gorillaglue.com/

My skimmer is not broken anywhere that water will be affected so I am not worried about this fix, for now (although in the back of my head I am worried that this is going to break and I am going to have a major flood), but I am wondering if anyone uses this stuff to glue corals and plants in their tank.

Thanks!

I don't know if it's safe to use in the reef tank. Here's a bump....

i've used this on wood, and it's AMAZING!

but i do not think that it will be any good in keeping non porous materials together. i tried to glue metal-2-metal using this, and it didn't work.

you also need to clamp it down for almost a day in order to get a good bond.

if you're fixing acrylic, get some weld-on.

We used it to reattach a sideview mirror! Worked pretty good my mom still doesn't know my brother nocked it off. Had to clamp it and leave most of the day. Not sure about a reef safe either tho.

not a whole lot of stuff works with acrylic.

i think anybody who has an aquarium should have a tube of Weld-On 16. this is what should be used to cement acrylic to itself. this is the only stuff i know of that will work long term and permanent. this is what all of your tanks/skimmer/reactors anything acrylic is made with (well ok, maybe Weld-On 3 and 40 are also used).

Well...Just FYI, I glued my overflow back together and it has been holding for 3 days now...I did let it set for more than a day for it to get hard...

I am now waiting for my new overflow box to come in...
