for that price I'd rather fly to the carribbean and scuba dive for my own....

by the way... has anyone tried to bring back live coral from a vacation before??? I'd like to hear some stories.... I'd love to try and dive for something, then tyr and get it back home to my own tank.

Wouldnt it be cool to dive for your own LiveRock???

don't even think about bringing it back international, all sorts of laws. some countries and esp. islands have laws against removing even shells.

line 11 on US customs declaration

I am (we are) bringing

11. I am (we are) bringing
a) fruits, plants, food, insects:
b) meats, animals, animals/ wildlife products:
c) disease agents, cell cultures, snails:
d) soil or have been on a farm/ ranch/ pasture

if you can't classify what you want to bring back with a "no" it will be taken and destroyed. not good for you or the reef that it came from
