anyone know anything about airwaterice float valves

I've got the 3/8" version of this: http://static.zoovy.com/merchant/the...BLY_layout.pdf

I haven't drilled the hole in my Brute just yet, because just messing with the float valve, when you lift the float to shut off the water, it just builds up pressure and starts spraying out the back nut. I checked the collet, it's in right.. Heck, I even turned it around and tried it the other way to be sure.

have you tried putting teflon tape around the nut? it took me a while to get my float valve sealed well enough to handle the pressure created by the float valve.
