Question

Anyone have problems with MaxiJet 1200?

I'm on my second one in 3 weeks and it looks like I'm returning this second one too. In both cases, after 1 week of operation, the unit started to make this grinding noise - kinda like I was making a frozen margarita in my tank! It's not constant, but it's enough to be really annoying. I know it's not anything I've done wrong - I also have a MaxiJet 600 in the same tank, installed the same way and it has been whisper-quiet for about 8 months so far. I'm hesitant to exchange it for another 1200. Do you think the LFS got a bad batch of these things, or are they prone to these problems? Should I just go with a couple 600's? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Never had any problems here, you might want to ask the store if they had any problems.
