Anyone have outer orbit metal halide lights?


Im lookin at the 48'' current usa outer orbit hqi setup....any experiences? This is where i found it -

I have the 48" with 2 130 watt actinics and 2 150 watt 10k hqi's I like it alot

Had it over my 75. The corals and I liked it a lot. Upgraded to a used 180 system that already had a nice DYI hood so I don't use it any more.

Not sure about that site.I haven't done my homework on a light like that in awhile. I ended up buying mine new from a guy on ebay for $100 bucks less than marine and reef is asking.. including shipping. If you want the guys email and phone number just send me a PM.

Do you still have yours? You said you upgraded to a 180 and now you dont use it anymore...looking to get rid of it by any chance?

I tried to sell it, but just ended up renting it to another club member that needed it over a QT tank whil they dealt with aefw. I'm still looking to sell it, but the couple I rented it to are going to need it at least another month or so. I'm positive the guy I bought mine from would set you up with a good deal as well.
