I've had a maroon clown in my tank for about a year now. He's great with most fish except other clowns. He chases my percula around, but that's about it. Awesome fish and they grow quick!

Pastins, I would avoid them. They are the most aggressive and territioral of all the clown fish. Go with a percula or occelaris or even a seabe instead. Trust me, youll probably want to get rid of him once hes yours.

My Gold Stripe Maroon Clown is a model citizen. The only time he's the least bit aggressive is if another fish gets too close to his host. Other than that he just rolls around in the folds of a Ricordia Yuma colony.

I've had 1 in my 55g now for 6 months or so. She's only defends her anenome when others come within 2 inches of it but she's never very vicious about it. When she's out swimming around she never bothers any of the other fish.

My maroon is great! It has only gotten mean when I tried to add another maroon. If you want more than one I would get them at the same time. I have noticed if another fish comes near his host he chases them of but he has never hurt any of my fish.

I dont thinks so. Mine had the gold stripe when I got it but overtime it faded away. Don't know if it was dye or if he lost the color being the only clown. No one to show off too.
