Anyone ever fragged a pagoda?
I am thinking of it, but I am wondering if you can cut the polyps hanging over the side and glue to a plug, or do you need to keep the polyp and skeleton together?

you need to take a piece of skeleton with it, and im pretty sure a large one, because the edges are likely to die. but should eventually grow back over.

polyp and skeleton need to stay together. i use a wet tile saw when i frag them, but you CAN use a pair of side cutters and cut off a few polyps and glue the skeleton to another rock (although i prefer NOT to use this method). i am working on some fragging videos for another site, when i get them ready i will see if they will allow me to post them here also.
i guess i can add a pagoda cup to the list for ya !!

Thanks! No wet tile saw here ( whatever that may be) and I don't want to hurt it cause it is one of my top 3 favorites!

i am working on about 10 videos right now. they still have to be edited and all that good stuff, so it could be a little while (couple of weeks or so). just bear with me.

fragging of acros, plating monti's, branching montis, many lps's and some shrooms and toadstools. mostly the common corals that everyone has, but i may throw in a few of my own more rare and harder to frag species.
