Anyone else just using WS Fiji Gold?

I have been using Walt Smith Gold since May. And I am adding nothing else. I top off water daily (about a gallon or more) and use 4 tablespoons of Gold twice a week. That is all I add. My tank is doing wonderfully.

Just wondering if anyone else has cit back on all the additives lately and went natural like me?

Clams and corals doing great!

Todd

It is 100% pure calcium. Crushed up coral into powder. That's it. Everything in the tank loves it and the growth is starting to get pretty good.

Walt told me that this is all you need. I told him BS, he told me to just try it and do it. I am now sold.

should work well as a slow drip into the tank, no reason for it not to, the difference between this and a calcium reactor is that a calcium reactor would use CO2 to acidify the seawater temporarily to dissolve the reactor media (aragonite). Only issue I would think is that there may be a tendency to have the particulate Cruhed coral settle out aws undissolved CaCO3 if added before it can diswsolve into the water column (or saturation is reached due to the size of the dosing bolus and/or rate of delivery)

I have no experience with the solution, but if it is expensive, I would consider getting a reactor rather than spencind the cash for the product.

If you would dissovle that in vinegar you would have even better results.

I only add pickling lime and vinegar.

$15.00 for a 20 oz. can Tom & yes I think I'll try the drip method.
1 hr. after dousing & the water is 80% clear.
