anybody else keep a death log?

Okay I think we all have established the fact that I am weird. But does anyone else here keep a log of livestock they have killed? Anybody want to share theirs? (can you tell im bored....)

heres mine:

by the way I started this hobby in June of this year.

blue devil damsel-not sure why died-$6
feather duster (lfs: "sure, you can put it in a new, just barely cycled tank" $12
black tail damsel-disappeared overnight-$6
sally lightfoot crab-disappeared after the move to texas-$8
royal gramma-lost to bacterial infection-$17
porcelain crab-put in tank one day, never saw again-$8
Tiny, the yellow clown goby-sucked into protein skimmer and turbulented to death-$invaluable, I loved that fish
sunrise dottyback-possible nitrite poisoning-$30
emerald crab-not sure, possibly acclimation failure-$10
scopas tang-wasnt healthy to start, not sure exact cause of death-$24
rhett, the clownfish-lost to oodinium-$35 (1/2 of a breeding pair)
cleaner shrimp-disappeared-$20
firefish-disappeared, not a jump out-$17

thats not only precious life, but $198 down the drain. come on, surely someone has done worse than me!

if this is a sick thread, feel free to ignore

just to balance it out, here is what I have not killed:

maroon clown-since 6/03
dragonet-since 7/03
blue assessor-since 7/03
hermit crabs and snails, do these count?
1 cleaner shrimp
1 peppermint shrimp
1 scopas tang
1 sailfin tang
1 pseudochromis
3 chromis
1 ocellaris
1 royal gramma
1 yellow clown goby
1 emerald crab
1 sand sifting star

uh oh, I just realized that this is barely over 50%...
maybe this thread was a bad idea after all!

awesome. see ive been at it for less than six months and youre making me look really bad! but good for you. I am done with buying fish, I have plenty and four saltwater tanks! now I am just taking care of what Ive got. gorgeous tank by the way. love your gsp's and what do you feed your yellow clown goby? mine will only eat (vitamin soaked) frozen brine. I feed flakes, formula one, mysis, and vitamin/garlic soaked flakes, pellet formula one and occasional chunk of frozen shrimp....

ty, i registered at the site you are registered on, i couldnt figure out how to add each fish though, would you mind assisting me?

tims, I told you I was weird.

I was just curious tonight, I thought, well I wonder how much livestock Ive gone through, then I started writing it down in my journal and it was kinda depressing. I thought, I wonder if anyone else has added it up. besides, my husband just took this job where he works weekends from 4 am to 5:30 pm and since he goes to bed so early I was bored.....

far to many to name.

been in the hobby so long, long before great info sources like this. so a lot was learn as you go and what info you can get from the LFS.

i am still finding out things here and looking back to a similar critter and realize what my error was at the time.

the only thing that matters is that you learn from it, so it does not happen again.

Well the rust is the reason that I have now started using a hospital tank...he had the ick that killed all my other fishies
