any suggestions on new lighting?

Hey everyone, been away a lot. I cuurently have an old coral life 72 inch hood w/ 2 daylight 10000k 96 watt and 2 actinic bulbs with 2 ballasts. I want to change lighting it is kinda old and the fan is starting to grind and make noise. any suggestions??
tank is a 125 gallon reef, mostly sofites with a few stonies (plates brains etc....)
what do you think of the T5's, my buddy likes them, but I have not found one that will be the full length of my tank 72"

Get 2 36" T5 fixtures to cover the whole tank.

T5's are the way to go. I will never buy anther MH fixture again! And make sure you get T5HO, Not plain T5.

4 T5 will take care of anything that needs light.
