Any other soft or stonies, tank review

Okay as I have mentioned before I have a 45G tall tank with a 29G refugium. The system is working great, all thats left is for my powerheads (two for the main tank and one for the skimmer) to come in, a better overflow box, and thats about it. My tank is being lighted by a 250 watt hallide, two 64 watt actinics, and a moonlight while the refugium is being lighted by a 20 watt NO light. I do run reverse photolight periods. My tank are for stonies (frogspawn, hammers, etc) and soft corals (Leathers, Xenia, etc).

So far in my tank and on my list I have the following: Purple body-green tip frogspawn, purple tipped hammers, toadstool leather, yellow leather, pink Zoo's, a green tree leather, bright green trumpets, maybe a brain, and a yellow tipped torch or frospawn.

I was wondering if there were any other interesting soft or stony corals out there that you guys know of that I haven't listed. thanks.

Sounds like you have some nice corals in there. One thing to remember is that frogspawns and hammers can get huge and they need space as they like to send out sweeper tentacles on occasion that can sting their neighbors. Leathers can get really big too and have some nasty chemical defenses/warfare.

Adding some more zoanthids or some shrooms will help give you some nice, bright colors.

Casey I had one of those. It got huge. I thought I would kill it if I fragged it so I didn't want to risk it. It's now in MyReef's 400 gal tank. Looks just right in there.

I'm amazed that you can keep it so close to that acropora and brain. Mine burns anything it touches, except maybe zoanthids.

Yeah it was starting to reach up and touch the tricolor so that's when I decided to get rid of it. It never did send out any sweepers.
