Any Ideas?

Any ideas on what exactly this is? I know it's a mushroom, but what kind? Does anyone know? Note the center where it shows a white clump? It is about 1 inch in diameter. Thanks

Not sure on the exatct type but I know the white clump is the inside of the stomach, nothing to worry about should go to normal soon.

One of mine did that a while ago, I attributed to stress because a torch was touching it. Anything could have caused it; some type of fluctuation, temp, light, salinity, or maybe just a random fluke.

Ah just came into tank on a rock, so you could say it has been stressed.

Fairly normal for shrooms to expell their guts when stressed, usually the recover fine
Mushroom ID is vague at best, probably the best you will get is a usually accepted common name. The taxonomy of corallimorphs is under review and new DNA research may help get accurate IDs at some point
