Question

Any Good Water Chem books for reef?

I don't understand about calcium and reef tanks atall... Read lots here and there, but can't get a good comprehensive handle on it.. Definitely been digging around in the archives, but they seem to address more specific problems. I think I've got the bit about salinity and ph and ammonia/nitrite/nitrate, but when it comes to supplements, I'm at a loss...

I need h2O chem 101...

any advice? books, sites, etc. with good info...

TDWyatt. But be careful what you wish for.

Do a search under his username. Practically all of his posts are books. They make your head spin but he knows his chemestry and I know he's touched on the subject a time or two.

Marine Aquarium Reference by Martin Moe. I think it's out of print but you might find it in used bookstores or Amazon (used). It will put you to sleep but it's good science!
