It should be 18" deep and yup, a 4 bulb is about as much as your going to be able to squeeze over it unless you make a custom hood.

ya sorry 18'' thats right ok so would I use 2 antic and 2 18,000K lights or all 18,000K lights?

i have 2 actinic and 2 10000k over my 55g

dv3 do you have any tank pic's? so your saying that 2 actinic and 2 18,000L is good for the anemones?

Anything you want... I would probably do a act, something around 10k, one around 12-14k and maybe another blue (either act or 20K) since most fixtures have independent switches for 2 bulbs at a time.

mine does not have a switch you just plug it in and it's on.

sorry no pics right now ...i dont have an anemone as of yet but was told that would be fine ...of course metal halides are better
