Anther critter question...
Well, the newbie's at it again...I was watching the tank today (I have to start cleaning my house and move AWAY from the tank...), and noticed these little soft white flat flower things, almost resembling a pretty spider web, coming out of a hole in a snail shell. Then I saw about five more coming out of the live rock. They disappear periodically. They are about the diameter of a pencil eraser. Any ideas? Tried to take pics, but they are too small. I don't know if the two are related, but the piece of live rock it was on had these white branches stuck to the rock, here and there. Pure white. Is this some kind of coral?
