Another what is this-PLANT

Does anyone know what kind of plants these are and will they be future dining for fish and inverts.

The first pic is of the small purple/red stem looking plants (?).
The second is of the obvious leaves growing.

My 12g tank is in its 2nd week of cycling and the rock was "pre-cured".

I did some more looking today and I think it might be Ulva (sea lettuce) in the Caulerpa family.

I found in Martin Moe the Aquarium Reference pgs 427 & 428

I have that stuff too. I was told that it was some type of yellow kelp. It will grow like crazy if properly lit. I cut if off and placed the rock in a shady area to prevent it from groing back. It had 6" leaves before I removed it.

Thanks guys. I'm going to research all of those. Maybe I can find something that likes to graze on them.
