Another sump question...

Sorry for all the questions about the sump, just set mine up and a little curious as to how things work. Alright, can I put my heater in the sump, and not have one in the tank? At first I thought this would be fine, but then the water flows by it so fast, I wasn't sure if it would keep the tank the right temperature.

Also, I have a sump with a fuge built in, the water should just barely flow over the tops of the baffles on each side of the fuge correct?

Everyone puts their heater in the sump! I have close to 700gph thru a 10 gal sump.

With the fuge, you want less flow than your main tank, but still enough to keep any cyno or other nuisance algaes growing.
