Another starfish ID needed

I have another hitchhiker starfish that I'd like to have IDed if anyone knows. It's either a serpent star or brittle star (what IS the difference between the 2?). It has a red disk with red and white striped legs that have hair or spikes, it's really cool looking and I haven't seen any like it while searching. It's from Florida rock so it would have to be caribbean in origin. For the past month or so it's been hanging out in a zoo colony and I only see it at night when the zoos close up. He's tripled in size since I first noticed him. It's leg span is about 3.5 inches, it's disk is only about 1/2 inch. The pic was taken with a flash since all lights were out and you can only see some legs. Anyone know what kind it is?

Cool, thanx. That sure does look like it, too bad it didn't specify exactly what it is. Man, I'm not having much luck trying to ID these starfish....

looks cool, if you feel the need to worry, don't. I have many different species of brittles in my systems, finding a good source of live rock and mixing it up will often give you hitch hiker benefits like this (although it can go both ways: you pays yer money, and you takes yer chances...)
