Another skimmer question...

I think it's time to upgrade the ole protein skimmer I have. I'm currently using an AMiracle (hang on the tank) thats about 3 years old. Whats everyone's opinion on AMiralce, are they any good? I have always hated it because it fills my tank with thousands of tiny bubbles. I have tried to have this fixed but to no avail. Lately it hasnt even been skimming, it kinda just sits there and foams like an alka selter talblet. I tried adjusting it and all but no good. So I have about had it. Can you recommend a good skimmer/pump(hang on the tank) for around 200.00 I like what I hear about the Berlin hang ons. Something that does not have a ton of adjustments and I dont need to be a rocket scientist to use. My tank is a 55gal reef. I would also appreciate a website for ordering if you had good dealings with them.

Thanks,
Mike.

Mike, premium aquatics carries both the AquaC Remora Pro and the Redsea Berlin, they are both just under $210. Between the 2 the Remora pro looks more space efficiant and less complicated. The Turboflotor is a nice unit, a little cheaper but sump mount only. Either one should work fine and still be good if you upgade to a 75 or 90 in the future,HTH

The Berlin hang on is really big and bulky. I would go with the Remora. Let us know what you get and how you like it!
