Anenome and clownfish Question

I have a true percula and a sebae anenome. Will the clownfish accept this anenome? I found the anenome for 10 bucks at lfs.

Hey Foy-

Definitely, positively, absolutely maybe! Yes, that is a common host for clown fish, but sometimes they dont take them as a host. Just wait and see, but most likely over a week or two it will make a home in your anenome. HTH Goodluck!

Sebae anemones - Heteractis crispa - host percula clowns in the wild. In fact they host as many different species of clownfish as E. quad . good luck
