anemones and powerheads dont mix

Well I was at the lfs yesterday and decided I'd get a condy to ad some color to the tank. So I got this big beautiful pink and purple one and brought it home. Well all was fine when I left for work but when I came home it had been sucked into the powerhead. So I turned off the powerhead and gently pulled it back out. Quite a few of its tenticles had been damaged but alot were still in fine condition so I let it go back into the tank. I didnt think it was going to make it but today its attached to a rock and expanded quite nicely.

I know its to early to tell if the damage is going to be fatal but Im keeping my fingers crossed and my powerheads covered.

Hey that happened to me once. The condy regenerated nicely. The problem with condys is that they move a lot, and go around stinging things. But they cool and hardy, as far as anemones go.

i had a large rose splitting once when one side of it got caught in a maxijet late at night. I woke up to go to the bathroom when I noticed that my tank water was like milky soup... I turned on the lights and saw that the maxijet had torn it to pieces.
