anemones and open brains

I'll put up pics later tonight, just was wondering how common this is??? At the local store, there's a dispay tank with an (sebae? some purple sand dweller) anemone and a trachy brain next to each other. Sometimes one or the other will move and they'll be touching each other until the first moves. NO damage to either that I've seen. Really weird, since I've read that nems will sting anything, or that the brains can be pretty agro too.

Way big pic >_> It was the brain that'd moved, the nem stays pretty much in the same spot all of the time.

Yeah, that's a real nice pic
That's not a sebae either. The seabae is white with purple tips.
I could be wrong though.

Seabae's should be brown if they are white they are bleached

ooohh...see? I learned something new LOL I had one about a year ago but traded her for some other frags. She was white. Guess I got the better end of the deal LOL

So IS that a seabae in the pic then? It looks very purple-ish on my screen.

I'm not sure but it may be a Long Tenticle Anenome although a seabae and LTA could be the same I'm not sure

IME stuff that happens without seeming to cause bad things in a LFS tank doesn't always work at home(read rarely)

I'm not gonna try it, and forget the anemone species>_> I was just wondering how often it happens. Since the brain will randomly move over to the anemone, sit under it for a while(with no human help either way), move back and neither is worse for the wear. Strange.
